Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams is known as one of the best photographers in the world. He is mainly know for his work with black and white photography, because he is able to create an emotional artistic shot even without the use of color. He absolutely loved the outdoors, and most of his photography expressed that. He had a spark of genius in him that anyone could see, and is looked up to by many photographers.
As a child Ansel wasn't the most popular kid. He wasn't "normal" and had a crooked nose from an earthquake that had thrown him to the ground and broke his nose very badly. He did not make friends easily, and had a lot of trouble with school. Because of this, Ansel was continuously switching schools, and had to be tutored by his father and aunt. Eventually he graduated from Mrs. Kate M. Wilkins Private School. As he grew older he obtained an infatuation with music. He learned to play the piano very well, and for a dozen years piano was his primary occupation. He did though eventually give up piano to become a photographer. One famous piece of his was Monolith, The Face of Half Dome which was taken in 1927. A stunning piece that was taken in Yosemite National Park.Ansel took his work very seriously, he would at some times work eighteen hours a day, for weeks on end.He was also an environmental activists, and was very much in love with Yosemite National Park. He overall is an extremely inspiring person, and photographer.
